Job Description Summary:

Northside Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman Plumber to join our Plumbing Department in Colville, WA. As a Journeyman Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems to ensure the efficient flow of water, air, and other gases.

We offer competitive compensation ranging from $25 to $35 per hour, depending on experience, with a flexible work schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm, and availability for emergency calls. In addition, we provide health and accidental insurance plans, making us a family-friendly and flexible employer.

Responsibilities:

Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and plumbing fixtures to maintain proper water, air, and gas flow.
Establish standards and procedures for plumbing systems, ensuring compliance with building codes.
Study building plans and working drawings to determine the sequence of installations.
Identify obstructions and locate pipe positions and connections by inspecting structures.
Cut openings in floors and walls to accommodate pipes and fittings.
Cut, thread, and bend pipes using appropriate tools and equipment.
Assemble, position, and seal valves, pipe fittings, and pipes to install plumbing systems.
Test plumbing systems for leaks by filling them with water or gas.
Repair and maintain plumbing systems by replacing washers, mending burst pipes, and unclogging drains.
Enforce adherence to federal, state, and local building and plumbing codes.
Follow the manufacturer's instructions and established procedures to keep plumbing equipment and tools operational.
Manage plumbing supplies inventory by monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and verifying receipts.
Conserve plumbing resources by using equipment and supplies efficiently.
Provide plumbing information and respond to customer questions and requests.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following procedures, rules, and regulations.

Skills/Qualifications:

Journeyman Plumber with a minimum of 8,000 hours of work experience, including 4,000 hours in commercial or industrial settings.
Residential: 6,000 hours of work experience
Valid plumbing license.
Proficiency in operating power tools and equipment to complete plumbing tasks efficiently.
Strong knowledge of plumbing principles, techniques, and industry standards.
Ability to analyze information and effectively solve problems related to plumbing systems.
Adherence to basic safety practices and understanding of ADA requirements for plumbing installations.
Dependable and reliable with a strong work ethic and a commitment to professionalism.
Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accurate installation and maintenance of plumbing systems.
Proficiency in equipment maintenance to keep tools and machinery in optimal condition.

We are on the lookout for a proficient and seasoned Electrician with an EL01 or EL02 license, either from Washington State or the ability to obtain it within 30 days for out-of-state candidates. We invite you to be part of our team in Colville, WA, where we offer competitive compensation ranging from $30 to $40 per hour, contingent upon your experience. Our work schedule is accommodating, spanning from Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, with a willingness for emergency call availability as well. Additionally, we prioritize your well-being by providing comprehensive health and accidental insurance plans, underscoring our commitment to being a family-friendly and adaptable employer.

Responsibilities:

Proficiently install electric panels and subpanels, ensuring precision and adherence to electrical codes.
Execute subcode seals for all required permits, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
Install, maintain, and repair electrical control wiring and lighting systems with precision and attention to detail.
Efficiently replace equipment, electrical wiring, and fixtures, guaranteeing optimal system functionality.
Resolve electrical inspection corrections promptly and effectively, guaranteeing compliance with relevant codes.
Ensure electrical systems are meticulously up to code based on project requirements, addressing any necessary adjustments.
Conduct thorough inspections of transformers, circuit breakers, and other critical electrical components.
Maintain unwavering adherence to all pertinent electrical codes and sub codes, prioritizing safety and compliance.
Uphold a spotless driving record, devoid of DUIs, gross misdemeanors, or moving violations.
